Flight planning and risk assessment
Every job includes pre-flight planning, airspace checks and an on-site risk assessment before the drone leaves the ground.
Commercial Drone Photography
Professional aerial photography that shows more than the building in front of the camera.
Altura creates high-resolution drone imagery for property, development, construction, hospitality and commercial projects across the Thames Valley and South East.
Show the bigger picture
Aerial photography makes relationships visible.
It can show a development within its surroundings, the scale of a commercial site, the setting of a venue or the progress of work across an entire project.
Every flight is planned around the images you actually need rather than simply capturing a collection of viewpoints from the air.
Property & Development
Show buildings, land, access, landscaping and surrounding context for development marketing, commercial property, architecture and completed projects.
Construction
Document site progress, key milestones and changing conditions with clear aerial imagery.
For recurring capture and consistent viewpoints, see our dedicated Construction Progress service.
Hospitality & Leisure
Capture hotels, venues, attractions and outdoor destinations within the landscape and surroundings that make them distinctive.
Commercial & Marketing
Create high-quality aerial assets for websites, campaigns, social media, brochures, PR and wider commercial communications.
Aerial and ground photography
Some projects need context from above and detail from below.
Where appropriate, Altura can combine drone photography with professional ground-level imagery during the same assignment, creating a more complete and consistent visual library.
Planned professionally
Commercial drone work involves more than turning up and taking off.
Each project is assessed for location, airspace, operating environment, permissions and weather before the shoot. Risk assessment and appropriate flight planning form part of the process.
Commercially qualified and insured
Altura Aerial Co operates with GVC and A2 CofC qualifications and £5 million public liability insurance.
Professional DJI equipment
Flights are carried out with professional DJI drone systems chosen for reliable image quality, stability and commercial project requirements.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you fly a drone anywhere?
- No. Every location is assessed individually for airspace, local restrictions, nearby infrastructure, people and suitable operating areas. Where additional permissions or planning are required, these are identified before the shoot.
- Can you combine drone and ground photography?
- Yes. Many commercial projects benefit from both. Altura can capture aerial and ground-level imagery as part of the same assignment where appropriate.
- How far do you travel?
- Altura is based in Maidenhead and primarily works across the Thames Valley and South East. Projects elsewhere in the UK can be accommodated where the scope justifies travel.
